In Memoriam, Legendary Marvel Inker Joe Sinnott (10/16/1926 - 06/25/2020)
Joltin’ Joe Sinnott passed away this week at 93. His grandson Dorian posted to Joe’s Facebook page on Thursday, “He passed away this morning, June 25th, at 8:40am at the age of 93. He enjoyed life and was drawing up until the end.”
Our thoughts are with the Sinnott family at this difficult time! For those unfamiliar with his work, here are some facts and some of his amazing contributions to Marvel and the wonderful world of comics!
A WWII veteran, Joe attended School of Visual Arts (Cartoonists and Illustrators School) in New York City in 1949 on the G.I. Bill (Lambiek.net)
