The Gents give their take on the highest-grossing, and most bloated, Trek movie of them all, Star Trek Into Darkness. Spoiler: it’s not great, but at least it has Robocop.
Continuing our Kirk Watch-Along Series, The Gents tackle the 2009 Star Trek reboot. The very same movie that inspired John to get a Blu-Ray Player, Clay to download it from iTunes, and all of us to make several trips to Burger King in order to get the promotional Star Trek glasses, which broke easily and possibly caused cancer. But the movie is excellent!
Clay, John and Dursin are back for the next installment in our Star Trek Watch-Along, Generations. But you don’t need to be lectured by us. We were out saving the galaxy when your grandfather was in diapers.
The Gents travel to “The Undiscovered Country” to watch and give their thoughts on Star Trek VI. Note to the galley: Romulan Ale no longer to be served at League watch-a-longs.
The Gents are back for another Watch-A-Long: Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, the one that was cursed. It’s a little painful to watch, but “you can’t take away my pain! I need my pain!”
John, Clay and Dursin look like a cadet review as they watch and give their thoughts on the classic Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. There are more than a few colorful metaphors exchanged.
